Serving North Nashville

Updated: Mar 9, 2021

Project Connect

Project Connect has been serving Nashville since 2010 in the efforts to break the cycle of poverty. On May 1st, 2010 as waters continued to rise from the record-breaking storm, Alan Murdock started a search and rescue to for elderly people trapped in their homes. By the end of the week, Murdock was leading hundreds of volunteers to clean up and serve the community affected by the flood. Later that year, Murdock was named East Nashvillian of the year. It was from said events that Project Connect was born.

We’ve been partnering with Project Connect Nashville since the Fall of 2020, as they continue to serve our North Nashville neighbors in need. G Catering has cooked, packed and delivered cold lunches and reheatable dinners four days a week to Project Connect Volunteers. We’re so blessed to be a part of serving Nashville as the volunteers pass out 1000+ boxed meals weekly.
