Green Juice Cocktail Recipe

With the beginning of a new year, you might be switching out food groups, eating more veggies and working out. But, if you’re anything like us, you’d still like to enjoy a good cocktail! Introducing the Green Juice Cocktail!

We wanted to create a play off of a Bloody Mary that was rich in nutrition! Celery juice has anti-inflammatory properties; it’s very hydrating and packed with vitamins A, C and K! Green Apple Juice provides nourishment to your skin and rich in calcium. Ginger juice is an immunity booster, anti-inflammatory and helps with digestion. All these nourishing juices are included in this cocktail.


If you’ve added juicing into your routine, this is the cocktail for you!


Here’s the skinny!


Recipe

1 ½ oz Vodka

1 oz Fresh Juiced Apple Juice (used granny smith apples)

1 oz Fresh Juiced Celery Juice

½ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Fresh Juiced Ginger Juice


Method

With an electric juicer, juice Celery, Apple and Ginger.



Helpful Tip: Juice Apple first, pour juice into a glass, rinse juice pitcher, juice celery, pour juice into glass, rinse juice pitcher, juice ginger last. Juicing in this order will allow you to enjoy the extra apple, celery and ginger juices without cross contamination.


You will most likely have extra juice – drink up and get those extra vitamins!

Hand Juice 1 lemon


Pour 1 ½ vodka, 1oz Apple Juice, 1oz Celery Juice, ½ oz lemon, ½ oz ginger into shaker. Shake over ice and pour into rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with Celery and Apple juice is desired.
