The Pastry Assistant will be responsible for pastry production for events as delegated by Pastry Lead ·Arrive to work on time in proper uniform ·Communicate with Pastry Chef regarding pastry production for the day ·Completion of pastry food production on the daily production prep list ·Review daily production sheet & BEO’s ·Highlighting food production completed on the BEO production prep list ·Make sure recipes are being followed as well as portion sizes for food produced ·Make sure station has proper sanitizing solution ·Check to see that all food is being labeled, dated & stored properly ·Clean all equipment, tables & shelving storage in regards to the pastry food production area including mats, sweeping, mopping & trash ·Assist with Food Production team members in other areas of the kitchen as needed ·Check out with Pastry Chef
